After having a very low period in the second half of 2015, I had my prescription upped on my antidepressant. And while it's definitely made the depression a lot more manageable, the anxiety still keeps me from being able to work. I also still have those moments where real-world Dizzy bleeds over into online-world Dizzy's attempts to RP as well...

But I'm not here to play pity-party... Not today anyway.

I've taken to spending more and more time on Second Life lately. Meeting random inflatey-minded people who've enjoyed my work has been nice, as has seeing how much prettier the game has gotten since I last paid it any attention. Annnnd all of it has gotten me thinking...

For those who don't know, Second Life has an in-game currency called Linden Dollars ( L$ ). They're purchased with real-world money, or can be earned a broad variety of ways in-game.

There are a lot of very pretty things I'd like to have, but I can't afford to use real money to buy the L$ to get them... So I'm going to put this out for discussion...

Nothing set in stone yet, but this was the first meaningful, feasible idea I had. Thoughts?

When SOPA and PIPA fail because of public outcry... Just go around the lawmaking procedure (With a little help from the government) and talk to the media corporations...

IT'S NOT TOO LATE TO ACT!


The Stop Online Piracy act has been all over the online world for a while now, but RIGHT NOW is THE most critical time.  If you value the freedoms of the online world, you'll go to americancensorship.org/ and sign the petition.  This bill comes up TODAY.  If it goes through now, it will probably end up as LAW.  If we put a stop to it now, it'll be down for a very long time.

This bill poses a serious threat to the freedoms of the online world.  Amusing anecdote:  If this law had been in effect before Justin Bieber had become a pop star, he'd be in PRISON right now, not Hollywood.

Artists, DJs, Gamers... The list goes on for all of us in the Millenial generation.  If you've never tried joining a political movement, now would be the time.  It's real people against corporate money, and if we're going to stop this, we need EVERYONE WHO CAN to join in!!

EDIT:  Just because you're not a US Citizen doesn't mean you can't help.  Go to the link and scroll down the page to lend your support.  The US State department speaks out against internet censorship in other countries, and now it's time that someone started talking back to them about trying to censor the internet domestically!
